Some times large quantities of Pouting are captured by reef fisherman. these fish like Whiting are shoal fish and when someone on the boat captures one you may rest assured dozens will be captured. The larger fish are reasonable in taste and not unlike Whiting to eat. However you usually need a few to make a decent meal. once again baited feathers or Whiting trace are the best method to capture Pouting
