Windfarm Support
Our fleet of Catamaran's are equipped with specially fendered bows of upto 1.5 metres designed for the safe transfer of personnel to wind turbine platforms.
All of our vessels have proven track records of safely transferring personnel in swells of to 1.5 metres significant wave height.
Our entire fleet have basic catering facilities to provide personnel with warm beverages and food on extended transits in the colder months.
We have completed contracts for companies such as Siemens and Dong Energy.
Crew and Stores Transfer
Commercial vessels anchored off or passing Lowestoft are invited to contact us for crew and stores transfer. We have vessels servicing the Southwold Offshore Anchorage on a daily basis. We can also deliver Marine Gas Oil (MGO) with quantities up to 80 metric tonnes and up to 80 metric tonnes of fresh water. We can also deliver up to 55 tonnes of general cargo.
All of our fleet are equipped with Class A AIS Transceivers allowing rapid acquisition of required vessel.
If crew members require overnight accommodation prior to joining or after leaving their vessel, we recommend East Coast Comfort Bed & Breakfast. We will happily provide transport from the dockside to this hotel.
Surveys
Hydrographical - We can directly provide a limited range of survey services such as basic seabed mapping as shown in the image. Ideal for confirming dredging operations.
Alternatively, our vessels can be chartered to work with your survey contractor.
Wildlife - Required more and more to monitor the impact of commercial offshore development on sea birds and mammals. Our catamarans provide a comfortable and stable platform for such surveys.
All of our fleet have 240 volt AC power capable of running video, PC's and data recording equipment along with basic catering facilities.
Diving
Although we do not directly provide diving services, our vessels are capable of supporting small commercial dive teams carrying out such tasks as wind turbine or pier inspection and pre salvage surveys. The ECC Amethyst can support full comprehensive dive operations.
All of our fleet have 240 volt AC power capable of running video, lighting, communication and data recording equipment. Some of our fleet already have dive ladders and personnel recovery davits and all other vessels can be fitted with them as required.
